Each policy is different, but as a general rule, coverage for bicycles on home and contents policies are very limited. Plus, if you damage your bicycle whilst out riding (especially if you’re racing), you’re not likely to be covered.

We don’t charge a postcode premium, so regardless of where you live, we won’t charge you any extra.

Absolutely. This comes as standard with our e-bike policy, which includes when they are damaged in an accident or as a result of loss due to an approved theft claim.
Continue reading → - Can I store my bike in a wooden shed?
You can store your bicycle in a wooden shed, provided you secure your bicycle therein using an approved lock to an immovable object. Please note, the wooden shed must be privately accessible to you, securely locked and your shed will need to be located within the boundaries of your primary residence.
Continue reading → - Can I keep my bike in a garage?
Yes, provided the garage is privately accessed, fully enclosed, built of brick, concrete or stone and roofed with slate, tiles or multi layered roof; attached to or within the boundaries of your private house. Any doors must be locked by a minimum 5 lever Mortice lock, or a uPVC Multipoint door lock. Any electric or ‘up and over’ garage door must be approved by “Secured by Design”. There cannot be an external override capable of opening the door or shutters either. If Your garage door doesn’t meet this criteria, You must use either a door defender or secure your bicycle to an immovable object through the frame with an approved lock inside the garage.
